Samantha had two releases Seema Raja and U-Turn at the Box office on September 13 worldwide. U Turn has opened to positive reviews from the critics and audience. U Turn is a remake of Kannada blockbuster thriller by the same name directed by Pawan Kumar of Lucia fame. The mystery thriller deals with traffic offenders. 

The film is a bilingual which released in both Tamil and Telugu on the same day. U-Turn has grossed Rs. 14 crore worldwide. In Tamil Nadu the film has grossed Rs. 3.6 crore in 4 days. It has minted Rs. 57 lakh from Chennai City alone and has grabbed the second spot at the Chennai Box Office with Seema Raja leading at the top.  

U-Turn took off to a slow start at the ticket window but has gradually picked up over the weekend due to positive word-of-mouth. The film clashed with Naga Chaitanya starrer family entertainer Shailaja Reddy Alludu at the Tollywood Box office.
