Varalakshmi Sarathkumar who reportedly plays the antagonist in Vishal's Sandakozhi 2 has wrapped the shoot for her portions in the film. Vishal posted a picture with a tweet on his Twitter page.

Sandakozhi 2, a sequel to the hit film Sandakozhi which released in 2005 is directed by Lingusamy. Vishal, Keerthi Suresh play the lead roles. The film is set to hit the screens on October 18, 2018.

Varalakshmi after wrapping Sandakozhi 2 has flown to Las Vegas, USA for Sarkar shoot. Vijay's introduction song is set to be shot in Las Vegas. Also few scenes involving Vijay and Varalakshmi will also be shot in the US schedule. Varu shared a video post on her Twitter page.

Reportedly Vijay plays a techie who lives in USA and returns to India and enters politics to bring about a change in the existing system. The entire film shooting will be wrapped this month as Sarkar is slated for Diwali release. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film is produced by Sun Pictures and has music by AR Rahman.
