Suriya 37 (tentative title) starring Suriya in the lead role directed by KV Anand, went on floors last month in London. Telugu actor Allu Sirish who was part of the film's ensemble cast has now opted out of the film citing date issues. The actor couldn't allot the dates required for the film as he has already given the dates for his other film ABCD.

Arya who is the latest addition to the cast of Suriya 37 is said to have replaced Allu Sirish after his decision to walk out of the film. The team has wrapped the first schedule of the film in London. The movie features Sayeesha, who has been paired opposite Suriya. Mohanlal, Arya, Samuthirakani and Bollywood actor Boman Irani are part of the film's cast. The film is produced by Lyca Productions.
