Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has made her foray into social media through Instagram today. Due to constant requests from her well-wishers and admirers, she has opted to have an official handle on Instagram. She has made her debut on Instagram a day before her 17th Cannes appearance. She will be walking the red carpet at the prestigious film festival on May 12. 

“Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has always been a private person and her presence on the social media platform is basically her way of thanking all her well wishers who have been hiving her so much love through the start of her career; a way to directly connect with them,” a press release from the actor’s PR team stated.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has officially made her Instagram debut and her handle is ‘@aishwaryaraibachchan_arb.” Her Instagram status reads as, “Miles to go before I sleep.” Aishwarya has more than 3000 followers currently and the numbers seem to increase every minute. The actor is yet to post any pictures yet. Pictures of her Cannes appearances are expected to be posted soon and create a storm in the social media circle.
