Dhanush in the Tamil remake of Needi Nadi Oke Katha?

 

Besides expecting the release of Enai Noki Payyum Thota, Vada Chennai and The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir actor Dhanush has an exciting line-up that includes films like Maari 2 and an untitled directorial with Sri Thenandal Films. Adding to these interesting films may be the the Tamil remake of Sree Vishnu, Sana Titus starrer Needi Nadi Oke Katha, which is currently garnering rave reviews from both the critics and the audience.
 
Reports of producer Kalaipuli S Thanu acquiring the rights of this Telugu film have surfaced, that also indicate that Dhanush might play the lead in this film. It is being said that Thanu's banner V Creations paid a huge price for the remake rights of the movie,  whose story is about a middle-class youth fighting against the non-skill based education system of the country.
 
An official confirmation on the same is however awaited from the people involved. Needi Nadi Oke Katha was originally written and directed by Udugula Venu and hit theatre screens on March 23, 2018.
