Tiruppur Subramaniam to file Police Complaint against online poser

Yesterday, a self-declared parody account of popular distributor and theatre owner Tiruppur Subramaniam, had sent out a tweet detailing the losses incurred by Rajinikanth's last three films - Kabali, Lingaa and Kochadaiyaan. In no time, the tweet started doing the rounds on social media and was shared extensively on all platforms. The now-deleted tweet was presumed to be made by Tiruppur Subramaniam himself as he is known to have spoken openly on the losses incurred by distributors and theatre owners in the past. His take on exorbitant fees paid to actors and their attributing to a producer's loss, did not help in doubting the nature of this said tweet.

However, those in the know-how were quick to bring the tweet to twitter-absent Subramaniam's notice and now reports have emerged that the distributor has decided to file a police complaint against the perpetrator. This person goes by the twitter handle @TiruSubramaniam and his profile reveals he has been using the platform since September, 2017. The handle's tweets mostly comprise of box-office details of various Tamil films and other film related details.
