Kamal Haasan's Political Journey named after MGR's film!

 

Kamal Haasan is all set to begin his 'political journey' on February 21, 2018 where he will be seen touring the entire state and meeting people directly. Now the title of his journey has been revealed as Naalai Namadhae which is also the name of MGR's famous 1975 remake of the popular Hindi movie Yaadon Ki Baarat. Interestingly, Haasan addressed the irony in his magazine article, where he has been constantly updating snippets of his political plans. He writes,

"Coming February 21, I am beginning a journey to meet the people. We have a name for this journey plan. Naalai Namadhae. Yes, this is the name we have kept for the journey. It doesn't matter even if it (the name) reminds you of him (MGR). Since it reminds us of good, we have chosen this name.."

Apart from the brow-raising name, Haasan is also in the news for reportedly asking one of his party-men to leave the fan-club meeting he conducted on January 23, 2018 and January 24, 2018. The man in question had tried trolling Kamal Haasan's counterpart Rajinikanth before he was cut short by the Ulaganayagan and strict reminder was given that indecent criticism of anyone will not be entertained by the actor.
