Vikram - Hari 's Saamy 2 might have Bobby Simha as the villain 

Saamy 2 is director Hari's sequel to his 2003 blockbuster Saamy which is due to begin rolling by August, 2017. The film was recently in the news for considering actor Bobby Simha to play the antagonist in the film. As revealed by Simha to a leading daily, 

“It’s true that I have been approached by the makers. But I am yet to sign the movie.” 

It would be interesting to see the casting materialize as Simha has played a baddie in Metro, Iraivi and Jigarthanda. Also of reports are to be believed, the villain character in Saamy 2 is said to be more intense than Perumal Pichai, the villain character in its predecessor. Saamy 2 will see Vikram and Trisha reprising their reapective roles and also has Keerthy Suresh as the new addition. The film will be bankrolled by producer Shibu Thameens.
