Adhe Kangal - Censored

Actor Kalaiyarasan's upcoming movie, titled after the yesteryear classic thriller Adhe Kangal, has been cenored with a clean U by the Central Board of Film Certification. This certification by the CBFC entitles the film a waive off in the entertainment tax according to the state government rule. The movie has Avan Ivan actress Janani Iyer sharing the lead with Sshivada Nair of Nedunchaalai fame.

To be directed by debutant Rohin Venkatesan, the movie revolves around the lead character Varun, who is a chef, his journalist friend Sadhana and his love interest Deepa. What follows after an unpredicted life change is what forms the story-line of the movie.

Adhe Kangal is produced by C.V Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment and has Ghibran for the music.
