The first teaser for filmmaker Christopher Nolan's latest Oppenheimer was dropped by Universal Pictures recently. The film stars Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy as father of atomic bomb and famed American physicist J Robert Oppenheimer. Murphy has previously appeared in other Nolan films such as The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception and Dunkirk but this is his first time as Nolan's lead.

Oppenheimer is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book titled American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer. The biographical book is penned by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin. Oppenheimer movie hits theater screens on July 21, 2023 and comes with a star ensemble of Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Rami Malek, Florence Pugh, Jack Quaid, Josh Peck, Kenneth Branagh among others.
