Despite the outcry from a section of Tamil Nadu over The Family Man Season 2, the show starring Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha in her digital debut is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video. The official release date of The Family Man 2 is June 4, 2021 and all episodes will premiere at midnight tonight.

Quick details one might need before watching the show are:

• Plot: The Family Man Season 2 is obviously a sequel. So one of the main things to know about the show is that is an action drama with focus on terrorists. Season 1 focussed on the unsettled family life of a National Investigation Agency (NIA) agent who is also dealing with potential terrorist attacks. Season 2 is expected to do the same, with an exception of the regional change.

• Characters: Manoj Bajpayee is the lead of The Family Man and he plays Srikanth Tiwari, the NIA agent. He is married to a Tamil named Suchitra Iyer (played by Priyamani) and has two kids.  Sharib Hashmi plays Srikanth's colleague J. K. Talpade. Along with them, Samantha Akkineni is making her digital debut in Family Man 2 as Raji, a terrorist-suspect.

• Run Time: While Family Man Season 1 had 10 episodes, Season 2 comes with 9 of 45 minutes each. The total run-time of Family Man Season 2 is 6 hrs 45 minutes.

• Languages: The Family Man Season 2 will be available in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. English Subtitles are also available.
