Interesting Updates Nanban 100 Day Function 

Nanban 100th day function was a grand success with an interesting theme of receiving awards from who Nanban stars think as their best friends. As part of the event, each of the cast and crew members were asked to name who they wanted to receive their 100th day shields. Here are our stars who received the awards from their best nanbans,

• Vijay - Director Dharani
• Harris Jayaraj - KV Anand
• Jiiva - Singer Krish
• Srikanth - Director Sasi

Other notable happenings are,

• When Vijay asked by the comperer whom he considers his favorite on-screen pair, he said Hansika. When the same question was posed to Vijay's wife Sangeetha, she hesitated in a shy manner and Vijay gave a subtle eye prompt from the stage asking her to go ahead. She revealed that her favorite is Genelia.
• Funniest speech was made by Karthi when he mentioned that Sathyan and him are childhood friends as they are relatives. Karthi had everybody in splits when he said he has seen Sathyan's butt long time before audience saw it on screen in Nanban
• Ileana was noticeably missing as she didn't attend the event
• The show was well compered by Sivakarthikeyan and Gopinath who kept the audience attention till the end.
