GV Prakash who is making his debut as an actor with Pencil is said to have signed his second film. The film titled 'Trisha Illana Nayanthara' will be directed by newcomer Adhik. Rebel Studios which is producing Vijay Sethupathy’s Mellisai will be producing this film. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised. An official announcement regarding the project is expected to be made soon.

GV Prakash's debut film Pencil is a romantic thriller directed by  Mani Nagaraj. Sridivya of VPVS fame plays the female lead. GV Prakash is scoring the music for the film as well. 

GV Prakash's upcoming films as music composer include Kaaka Muttai, Saivam, Irumbu Kuthirai, Naan Sigappu Manithan and Eetti.
