After wrapping up shooting for Jailer 2, Rajinikanth is gearing up to begin work on his next film, tentatively titled Thalaivar 173. Director Cibi Chakravarthy has confirmed that the project is set to go on floors in April, with expectations running high among fans.

Recent social media reports suggest that Malayalam actor Basil Joseph may play Rajinikanth’s son in the film, while Priyanka Mohan is also rumoured to be part of the cast. However, an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited.
