Recent online speculation suggested that actor Vikram’s upcoming film Chiyaan 63 had been dropped. However, close sources associated with the project have clarified that the film is very much on track and continues to move forward as planned.

While no official statement has been released by the makers so far, sources indicate that the rumours are baseless and that work on the project is progressing. An official update regarding the film is expected soon.

The project, announced in October 2025 by Shanti Talkies, marks the directorial debut of Bodi Rajkumar, known for his acclaimed short films Amen and Lo and Behold, both of which earned recognition at international film festivals.
