Actor Silambarasan TR has shared his thoughts on the ongoing Jana Nayagan issue involving Vijay and also opened up about his recent meeting with Ajith Kumar, during an interview with a leading Tamil magazine.

Speaking about Jana Nayagan and Vijay, STR said that the film cannot be separated from Vijay, given his long journey in cinema and the fact that it marks his final film. He added that his intention was to stand by Vijay and support him within the film industry so that the film reaches audiences. STR clarified that his tweet was driven by this support and not by any political stance. He also stated that he does not have the experience or knowledge to comment on politics and wished Vijay the best for his future.

STR also spoke about meeting Ajith Kumar in Dubai. He revealed that he had travelled to Dubai for a jewellery shop opening and learned that Ajith’s racing venue was on the way. Having wanted to meet Ajith for a long time, STR said he took the opportunity but was careful not to disturb him during his racing schedule. After seeking Ajith’s permission, the two met, and STR shared that Ajith was happy during the interaction and spoke in detail about his racing journey. STR added that the meeting left him equally happy.
