Sudha Kongara directed Parasakthi starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead has taken a crucial step forward on the release front. The film has been certified U/A in India, paving the way for its scheduled theatrical release on January 10, 2026. Parasakthi film's runtime is 162. 43 minutes i.e. 2 hours 42 minutes 43 seconds. 

Parasakthi is a period action drama set in the 1960s, and is based on real life anti-Hindi agitations in Tamil Nadu. The movie also stars Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, Atharvaa, and has GV Prakash Kumar for music.
