Actor Karthi’s VaaVaathiyaar has been cleared by the censor board with a U/A certificate. The film’s runtime is 2 hours 9 minutes, and the makers are currently pushing hard for a January 14 Pongal release, subject to the resolution of pending financial issues. With Vijay’s #JanaNayagan moving out of the Pongal race due to its censor matter being sub judice, the Vaa Vaathiyaar team is keen on capitalising on this release window.
