Suriya 46 (tentative title) is an upcoming Tamil language family drama written and directed by Telugu filmmaker Venky Atluri, and produced by Tollywood's Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios. Suriya stars alongside Mamitha Baiju in the lead, and veteran actresses Raveena Tandon (Bollywood) and Radhika Sarathkumar (Kollywood) play pivotal roles in the movie. 

Suriya 46 has now entered final stages of shooting. A latest still from the sets showcases Mamitha Baiju, Radhika Sarathkumar, and Raveena Tandon sharing smiles behind-the-scenes. While the Suriya 46 release date is yet to be officially announced, it is expected that the film will hit theater screens on May 1, 2026 (Friday), marking the Labour day weekend. 

Owing to this recent update on Suriya 46 release date, another big budget Tamil film of Suriya's, Karuppu, has advanced its release from the Tamil New Year weekend (April 10, 2026) to Republic day weekend on January 26, 2026. Suriya will also see the release of Suriya 47 directed by Malayalam filmmaker Jithu Madhavan in 2026.
