In September, MovieCrow had reported that actor Vikram's officially announced film Chiyaan 64 (tentative title) with Vels Film International, is undergoing a director change. Lyricist Vishnu Edavan who is making his debut as director with the Kavin-Nayanthara movie, has since been revealed as the director of Chiyaan 64. 

Anirudh Ravichander has also since been murmured to be composing music for Chiyaan 64, though official announcements await. Latest we hear, Anirudh is onboard Chiyaan 64, and him composing for the Vikram-Vishnu Edavan-Vels Film International movie will mark his debut collaboration with the lead star Chiyaan Vikram.
