Karthi's Vaa Vaathiyaar to Hit Theatres This December 2025

Karthi’s upcoming film "Vaa Vaathiyaar" is officially set to release in December 2025, with the exact date expected to be announced soon. Reports suggest it may hit theaters around December 5, 2025.

Directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, known for "Soodhu Kavvum" and "Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum", the film marks his comeback after a long break. Karthi plays a police officer and an MGR fan, while Krithi Shetty stars as the female lead. The cast also includes Sathyaraj as the villain and Rajkiran in a key role.

Produced by Studio Green, the film’s music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan, reuniting with Nalan Kumarasamy once again. Initially planned for a Diwali 2025 release, the team moved it to December to avoid festival clashes and ensure a grand solo release.
