Last year actress Trisha broke the internet with her Instagram wish for Tamil star actor Vijay, which was originally accompanied by Billie Eilish's world famous song Birds of a Feather. The reason Trisha's elevator selfie with Vijay garnered widespread attention was because at that time, the beloved onscreen couple had just about reunited on a movie titled Leo (2023) and were anticipating the release of another film titled The Greatest of All Time (2024), which had a dance cameo by Trisha.

Since then Vijay and Trisha have been spotted attending actress Keerthy Suresh's wedding together, hinting at a rekindled friendship that had once gone sour in the early 2000s. Now, Trisha marking Vijay's 51st birthday on June 22, 2025 has shared another cozy picture with the actor, suggesting a steady friendship with the actor. 

Trisha's Instagram post where the caption read, "Happy Birthday bestest🤗🧿" saw her fondly smiling at Vijay playing with her last adopted brown poodle, Izzy. Trisha's IG update made it to regional Tamil news updates, which was inturn shared with red hearts by Trisha's mother Uma Krishnan Ganapathy. 

Izzy Krishnan was adopted on Valentine's day by Trisha and her mother, after the passing of one of their family dogs, Zorro in December 2024. Trisha who was last seen in Thug Life, will next be seen opposite Chiranjeevi in Vishwambara (Telugu), and Suriya in Karuppu (Tamil).
