After dropping Vaadivaasal with Suriya, director Vetrimaaran has begun a new project with actor Silambarasan TR. Promo shoot for this untitled project has seemingly begun, or so suggest the leaked clicks from the filming spot. 

Surprisingly director Nelson Dilipkumar is also spotted alongside Silambarasan TR in the leaked still, and it is being suggested that he makes a cameo appearance in the Vetrimaaran - Silambarasan TR film. 

It is also being suggested that the STR-Vetrimaaran film is a sub-story of Vada Chennai (2018) and will see the return of actors Andrea Jeremiah, Samithirakani, and Kishore.
