In December last year, it was revealed that SJ Suryah who left filmmaking for acting, is making his comeback as director with a film titled Killer. Touted to be a spiritual sequel to SJ Suryah's sci-fi adult comedy New (2004), an unofficial adaptation of the Tom Hanks starrer Big (1988), Killer has now been revealed as a 'complete commercial film' that will have a mix of 'action, love, and comedy'.
The revelation came directly from SJ Suryah himself during a recent stage appearance. SJ Suryah has also mentioned that he will play the lead in Killer, as he is done playing villain roles in movies.
