R.S. Durai Senthilkumar of Ethir Neechal (2013), Kaaki Sattai (2015), Kodi (2016) and Pattas (2020) fame may not have has a directorial release since his last film, but the filmmaker served as a writer in the acclaimed 2023 movie Viduthalai: Part 1 starring Soori, Vijay Sethupathi and directed by Vetrimaaran. Durai Senthilkumar's next directorial will be with 1 film old business entrepreneur turned actor, producer Legend Saravanan. 

An official announcement on this project however awaits. Durai Senthilkumar was also supposed to direct Raghava Lawrence in a film titled Adhigaaram, written by Vetrimaaran and with music by Thaman but there has been no official update for a year and plus, now.
