Actor Vishal and his upcoming films were restrained for release by The Madras High Court recently, after a division bench of the court directed the actor-producer to deposit Rs 15 Cr. to the credit of a suit filed by Lyca Productions. This meant the scheduled release of Mark Antony starring Vishal, SJ Suryah was doubtful, but now actor Vishal and film's producer Vinod Kumar have updated that Mark Antony will release in theaters as planned on September 15, 2023.

A time-travelling action entertainer, Mark Antony is written and directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The U/A certified film comes with a runtime of 2 hours 30 minutes 51 seconds and has GV Prakash for music. The film produced by Mini Studios also stars Ritu Varma, Telugu actor Sunil among others.
