Only recently the first look of Captain Miller with Dhanush in a man-bun and long beard made waves with the Tamil cinephiles, and now the actor has already let go of his locks from both his head and face. Dhanush was spotted by the media at Thirupathi, and the actor not just visited the temple with his parents and two sons, he also had his head tonsured and beard clean-shaved. Seemingly, Dhanush's new look with just his mustache is for D 50 - rumoured to be titled Raayan.

D 50 will be self-directed by Dhanush and the actor will star alongside names like SJ Suryah, Sundeep Kishan (as Dhanush's brothers), Dushara Vijayan, Vishnu Vishal, Kalidas Jayaram, Trisha among others. D 50 is a production venture of Sun Pictures and will have AR Rahman for music.

[Update: February 17, 2024]: The title and first look of D50 will be out on February 19, 2024. This announcement was made with a poster featuring the backside of Dhanush with a tonsured head.
