Actor Suriya who owns residential properties in both Chennai and Mumbai, buying a brand new luxurious flat in the latter city did not stir up fans, but the actor upping and moving his family into his new Mumbai residence has. Actress Jyotika - Suriya's wife, is all set to begin shooting for a Hindi OTT series, and in lieu of the same Suriya has purchased a 9000 square feet flat worth Rs. 68 Cr. in Mumbai.

Reportedly, Suriya has also enrolled both his children - Diya and Dev in a Mumbai school for the new term. In recent times, the Mumbai paparazzi has spotted Suriya out and about in the city more than once. It remains to be seen if the family's shift to the new city will end with Jyotika's filming schedules, given Suriya's whole career is based out of Chennai.
