Thunivu director H. Vinoth is next beginning a film with actor Kamal Haasan, which is a production venture of Kamal's home banner Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI). This movie is said to be a quickie between Kamal Haasan's ongoing project Indian 2 and his next KH 234 (tentative title) with director Mani Ratnam. Pre-production of Kamal - H. Vinoth film was recently reported to have begun, but H. Vinoth seems to be keeping his options open even at this point. 

H. Vinoth also has a project with Dhanush and 7 Screen Studio in the pipeline, and reportedly the director is planning on shifting focus to this film, if his movie with Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi doesn't go on floors by February, 2023 end.

Dhanush currently is awaiting the release of Vaathi on February 17 and is also shooting for Captain Miller with director Arun Matheswaran.
