After Lal Salaam starring Rajinikanth, Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth recently went on floors, Ratha Saatchi, another communist-hint Tamil movie is now gearing up for a first look release. Ratha Saatchi is a film adaptation of writer B Jeyamohan's Kaithigal, and the movie is jointly produced by Aha Tamil and Magizh Mandram.

The first look of Ratha Saatchi written and directed by Rafiq Ismail will be unveiled on November 15, 2022. The technical crew of this film includes Javed Riaz for music, Jagadeesh Ravi for cinematography and Prakash Karunanithi for edits. 

Ratha Saatchi stars Kanna Ravi, Harish Kumar, Elango Kumaravel, Kalyan Master, Madras Charles among others and the film is about the humanity that exists within armed forces and how it impacts the lives of two individuals. Jeyamohan's Kaithigal was famously sought by Mani Ratnam and Vetrimaaran, just after it was given to Rafiq for a movie adaptation. 

"A director named Rafiq Ismail approached me and asked for permission to make 'Kaithigal' into a film. Within three months of this happening, ace director Mani Ratnam considered adapting this story for the screen.
