Recently the film had a grand audio launch event which was attended by the who's who of the Tamil film industry. Star actor Rajinikanth was among the guests and he made an interesting revelation during his speech.

One of Rajini's biggest hits in 1999 was the KS Ravikumar directed Padayappa, in which actress Ramya Krishnan (Baahubali, Liger) played an iconic character named Neelambari.
