Actor 'Chiyaan' Vikram made his debut on the microblogging website Twitter recently and the his first tweet was a video from him to his fans. Vikram was seen in an all-beard look and he revealed that it is for Chiyaan 61 (tentative title), his upcoming period drama with director Pa. Ranjith.

"Hi. Vanakkam to everyone, this is me Chiyaan Vikram. Truly this is me (laughs). I'm not in disguise. Oh by the way, this (points to his beard) - I'm getting ready for Ranjith's film. So no need to worry. This is not a disguise.

Chiyaan 61 is set against the backdrop of Kolar Gold Fields and went on floors a month ago. Studio Green is producing the film with GV Prakash for music and it is based on some real life incidents that took place in 19th century India under the British rule.
