Actress Trisha who currently awaits the release of Mani Ratnam directed Ponniyin Selvan 1 will also be seen next in a movie titled The Road. Directed by debutant Arun Vaseegaran and produced by AAA Cinema, The Road is said to be a revenge saga and the first look of the film was unveiled marking Trisha's 39th birthday today. 

The Road co-stars Sarpatta Parambarai fame Santhosh Prathap and Shabeer, actors Miya George and MS Bhaskar among others. The film is said to be based on real-life incidents and its technical crew includes Sam CS for music, KG Venkatesh for cinematography and Nagooran for edits.
