Doctor director Nelson Dhilipkumar is currently busy shooting for Beast, his upcoming film with actor Vijay and Sun Pictures. The movie touted to be about gold smuggling is currently being filmed at Chennai and the team seems to have completed 80 days of the 120-day schedule. 

With this a total of 70% of Beast shooting is done and the film is expected to wrap by end of December, 2021. Beast is expected to hit theater screens in Summer, 2022 while an official confirmation on the release date awaits.

The movie has Pooja Hegde playing female lead and Selvaraghavan, Yogi Babu, Shine Tom Chacko, Aparna Das and others playing important roles. Anirudh is composing music for this movie and Manoj Paramahansa is cranking the camera.
