Mahaan is an upcoming gangster thriller directed by Karthik Subbaraj, starring Vikram in the lead. The movie has music by Santhosh Narayanan and it has now been revealed that the first single is titled Soorayaatam. The song will be unveiled on September 22, 2021 (Wednesday) and Sony Music South holds the audio rights to this album.

Mahaan has Vikram playing the titular character while his son Dhruv plays his on-screen son Dada. The movie also stars Simran, Vani Bhojan, Bobby Simha, Sananth among others and is produced by Seven Screen Studio.
