Even when she made a comeback in 2015, actress Jyotika refrained from joining any social media platforms despite the fan-following she enjoys. When questioned how she kept in touch with her fan-base, Jyotika had once said that most of her fans were family women and they somehow manage to get hold of her phone number (which she has not changed for years), to WhatsApp or text. 

Now, the actress has broken her social media abstinence and has marked her debut by joining Instagram. "Hello everyone! On social media for the very first time! A lot of positivity to share from my lockdown diaries", the actress wrote on her very first post. Actor Suriya cheered on his wife by stating that he was thrilled to see her on the platform.
