Multi-talented Vijay Antony celebrated his 46th birthday on July 24, 2021 and in lieu of the same, two of his movies had fresh updates in store. Agni Siragugal, which is currently in post-production, had a new poster release featuring the actor as 'Seenu', his character in the movie. 

Produced by T. Siva of Amma Creations, Agni Siragugal has Arun Vijay as the antagonist and Akshara Haasan as female lead. Directed by Naveen, the film will also release in Telugu as Jwala.

Vijay Antony also had a new movie announcement on his birthday. The actor will be turning director for the sequel of his 2016 hit Pichaikkaran. Pichaikkaran 2 will also have music by Vijay Antony and will be a shot at Chennai, Dubai, Georgia and Kolkatta.

Pichaikkaran 2 is slated for 2022 release and also stars John Vijay, Yogi Babu, Harish Peradi, Y Gee Mahendran, and Kitty among others.
