Only of the highly buzzed OTT productions is Netflix's Baahubali: Before the Beginning which is a prequel to both of S.S. Rajamouli's movies. Recently it was confirmed that actress Wamiqa Gabbi has been roped in to play the role of young Sivagami, before she took over as the queen of Mahishmati.

Now, reports are rampant that actress Nayanthara will be making her digital debut with the series; Her role however is being kept under wraps for now. The web-series is expected to go on floors by September, 2021.

It is worth mentioning here that Baahubali: Before the Beginning was shot with a different cast prior to this. The makers seem to have not been satisfied with the final product and hence have gone in for fresh cast.
