One of Kamal Haasan's iconic Tamil comedy films is Michael Madhana Kama Rajan in which he played quadruple roles. Kamal Haasan and his late pal Crazy Mohan had written the screenplay for the movie and Singeetam Srinivasa Rao had directed it.

Recently director Alphonse Puthren, who is a multi-talent himself in the cine field requested Kamal Haasan to provide a class on how he pulled the technicalities such as editing, camera work and visual effects in the late 80s when technology had not developed as much as it is today. 

Kamal Haasan recently responded to the same by stating that he would be more than glad to and acknowledged Puthren's talents in the process. It is worth mentioning here that cinematographer Gowri Shankar had to shoot all characters of Kamal Haasan in a single frame without any patches. 

It is also said that Kamal Haasan designed all four looks of his in the movie by himself.
