Despite the raging COVID-19 cases and complete shut down of movie theaters in India, Marvel did not alter the release date of Black Widow in the country on the occassion of releasing brand new posters recently. MCU's Black Widow is expected to release in 6 languages in India - English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam on July 9, 2021.

However in the case of theatrical release not happening, Black Widow starring Scarlett Johansson is expected to make OTT premiere on Disney Plus Hotstar on October 8, 2021. 

Black Widow traces Natasha Romanoff's past before she became an Avenger, taking us into the Red Room, where she got trained to become an assassin.

Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, who was trained alongside Nat in the Red Room to become a Black Widow. 

Rachel Weisz plays Melina Vostokoff, Natasha's former family before Avengers.

David Harbour as Russian super-soldier Alexei Shostakov/The Red Guardian.

O-T Fagbenle plays Rick Mason, an ally from S.H.I.E.L.D. who helped Romanoff in her missions.
