After Master, Vijay Sethupathi is gearing up for a double movie release in theaters this February 12, 2021. One is the Tamil anthology film Kutti Story and the other is the Telugu movie Uppena where he plays a traditional villain named Rayanam. 

A romantic drama, Uppena had a trailer release today and Vijay Sethupathi can be seen playing villainous father and a 'love' hater. Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi’s nephew and actor Sai Dharam Tej’s younger brother, Panja Vaishnav Tej is making his acting debut with the film alongside another debutante Krithi Shetty.

Uppena is helmed by Rangasthalam scriptwriter and first time director Buchi Babu Sana and has Devi Sri Prasad for music.
