Former Madras high court justice K. Chandru along with five other former judges of the court have come in support of Suriya for his NEET statement [full English translation here], in which the actor was called out for contempt of court.

Justice K. Chandru along with Justice K.N. Basha, Justice T. Sudanthiram, Justice D. Hariparanthaman, Justice K. Kannan and Justice G.M. Akbar Ali have singed a letter addressed to chief justice A.P. Sahi, the contents of which can be found below.
