Surrounding the arrest of Rhea Chakroborty in relation to the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, one of the talking points was a T-shirt the upcoming actress sported during her visit to the Narcotics Control Bureau. The slogan on the T-shirt read, "Roses are Red, Violets are blue, Let's smash patriarchy, Me and You."
The T-shirt in question is a part of 'Roses are Red' series by popular website The Souled Store, which launched it as a charity campaign in association with an NGO called Give Her 5.
The description on the website states that the campaign was meant for creating awareness about menstrual hygiene and that with every sale of a T-shirt, one rural girl would be supported with 1 year's worth of sanitary napkins.
However, Hindi film industry stars like Sonam Kapoor, Farhan Akthar, Vidya Balan, Kareena Kapoor Khan along with Kabali actress Radhika Apte, directors Anurag Kashyap and Zoya Akthar have been sharing the slogan to show their solidarity for Rhea, who will be spending the next 14 days in jail for her involvement in the use of weed and chemical drugs.
