Vijay's movie Master which was expected to be an April 9, 2020 release (though it was never officially announced) would have hit theater screens today had it not been for the Coronavirus pandemic. Fans of 'Thalapathy Vijay' trended the Master 'first day first show' tag nevertheless, and reminisced the times every time a Vijay movie release is celebrated with fan-fare.

It is worth mentioning here that the 21-day lockdown in India which applies till April 14, 2020 might get extended given the increasing number of COVID-19 patients and deaths in the country. It is also being said that owing to the same, no big Tamil movies will release till mid-June, 2020.

Today is the Master release date. Would have been a pakkasummer release. Let’s hope we get out soon of this crisis. it’s life mukiyam bigilu moment now .
