Ajith's upcoming project Valimai, just like all other movie productions is currently under temporary halt due to the 21-day lock-down imposed by the Indian government till April 14, 2020. But the COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak may have caused a permanent change in the shooting plans of the movie for word is that the team has once and for all dropped its plan of shooting at exotic locales, overseas. 

If one may recall, prior to the virus outbreak in India team Valimai had plans of travelling to Spain and Morocco to shoot some action sequences. But the pandemic being at large almost all over the world, it seems like director H. Vinoth will be looking at completing the movie within the country [No official announcements on the same though].

Valimai is produced by Boney Kapoor's Bay View Projects LLC and also stars Pavel Navageethan, 100 actor Raj Ayyapa among others with Yuvan Shankar Raja for music and Nirav Shah for cinematography.
