One of the major complaints that has been doing rounds during this ongoing Coronavirus pandemic is how people with less means are suffering to even get tested for COVID-19. With only government hospitals allowed to conduct the same and the wait time being a huge concern, actor Kamal Haasan has come up with an offer to help the situation.
Taking to his twitter account today, the actor announced, "In this time of crisis, in order to help people I am thinking of temporarily transforming my home as a place where Maiyam doctors can help treat corona-affected people with less means. In the event of government allowing me, I am ready to do that."
It is worth mentioning here that with the government being stringent about even private hospitals/doctors testing/treating Coronavirus patients, it is highly unlikely that Haasan will get the required permission to do what he intends.
