Netrikann, Nayanthara's 45th film which is also Vignesh Sivan's production venture recently had an actor added to the cast and it has been revealed to be Ajmal of Ko, Anjathey fame. While Nayanthara plays a visually-impaired girl in the movie, Ajmal is said to have bagged a very pivotal role, for which he started shooting at Chennai last week. 

Netrikann is also said to have completed 80% of its shooting and is currently conducting workshops for its actors due to the shoot-halt from corona scare. Touted to be a thriller, the film is directed by Aval fame Milind Rau and has Girishh for music, Karthik Ganesh for cinematography and Lawrence Kishore for the edits.
