The shooting of Sivakarthikeyan upcoming sci-fi thriller 'Ayalaan' is progressing at a brisk pace. The official twitter handle of the film has updated on the film's status on social media. The team has wrapped up around 75% of the shoot. The remaining portions will be shot in two schedules. The post-production work which includes dubbing, editing and graphics work is happening simultaneously.

Rakul Preet Singh plays the leading lady in the project. Directed by R. Ravikumar of 'Indru Netru Nalai' fame, the sci-fi film which features an alien, is jointly produced by 24AM Studios and KJR Studios. AR Rahman is scoring the music. The film is set to release in 5 languages simultaneously and is expected to hit the screens in Summer 2020.
