Sivakarthikeyan finally resumes shooting for long-delayed SK 14; Title announcement soon

Sivakarthikeyan has resumed shooting for his long-pending film SK14 (tentative title) yesterday. Directed by R. Ravikumar of 'Indru Netru Nalai' fame, the film went on floors on June 27, 2018. Touted to be a sci-fi film, it was announced to be made on an extravagant budget, bankrolled by 24 AM studios. However the film shooting was stalled temporarily due to financial crisis faced by producer RD Raja.

The production house made the announcement on their Twitter page and also shared a picture from the movie set. The film's title is expected to be announced soon.

The film is said to be the most expensive film ever made in Sivakarthikeyan’s career as it involves a lot of CG works. Sivakarthikeyan in an earlier interview had said that about 75% of the film shoot has been completed and the shooting will resume in January 2020. Only last two schedules are left for the film's completion.

Rakul Preet Singh has been paired against Sivakarthikeyan for the first time. AR Rahman will be scoring music. The film also stars Ishag Opkar, Bhanupriya, Yogi Babu and Karunakaran in supporting roles.
