Almost after 2 years, director Selvaraghavan's Nenjam Marapathillai which stars SJ Suryah, Regina Cassandra, Nandita Swetha and Bobby Simha in a horror-thriller set-up is gearing up for a release, according to an official update. A new monochromatic poster was released for the movie, stating a release date is to be announced soon and buzz in the grapevine is that the date might be January 24, 2020. 

Some reports also indicate a closer release date i.e. December 27, 2019 though given the close gap between the announcement and the date, it seems highly unlikely.  Yuvan Shankar Raja's U1 Records shared the new poster with the caption, "Coming Soon."
